The government’s announcement of a nationwide lockdown to tackle the coronavirus means the security of your property is more important than ever.
The Security Industry Authority (SIA) has confirmed that we, and our trusted Service Partners, are essential in maintaining critical services across the UK. By government definition, our frontline team members are therefore essential workers and continue to work hard to deliver an uncompromisingly high level of service to all our clients.
We would also like to stress that ensuring the safety of our frontline team members is crucial to the smooth running of our services to both homes and businesses alike. Therefore, the more the public remain at home, the better able we are to keep our frontline team members safe and your properties secure.

The coronavirus outbreak and government lockdown measures have left many buildings, particularly newly empty ones, more vulnerable to intrusion, vandalism and unchecked maintenance issues. Security is high on everyone’s agenda, especially during these times of stricter measures. We are working around the clock with our clients to ensure offices, homes and other properties are secure over the coming weeks and months, so that, when life returns to normal, they can quickly pick up where they left off. Over the past week, we have rapidly innovated our systems to enable us to bring on new clients at speed. Mobile patrols can also be an excellent alternative to expensive manned guarding resource. Typically booked in blocks of 1, 2 or 4 these patrols are conducted at random times over a 24 hour period. We will be there to respond to alarm calls so that you or your staff can adhere to government guidelines and stay at home. The pattern of alarm calls is now changing as more come in during the day when businesses are closed. We are working to ensure we have the right size of team to be able to handle increased demand, especially during day times, which would normally be attended by clients themselves.

If you have found yourself unable to access your empty property and are worried about when you’ll next be able to do so, our network of trained, trusted professionals is an essential resource. They can be your eyes and ears, making sure what you value is kept safe and secure during this period. Adding a regular House Check service will ensure it is being monitored in your absence. Our officers check for signs of intrusion but also clear away mail and can turn on the lights, giving the impression that someone is home.
