When we became a Certified B Corporation in 2024, we made a commitment: to measure the impact of everything we do and to be open about what we find. Today, I’m proud to share our first B Corp Impact Report.
The annual Impact Report outlines our performance across five areas of impact – Governance, Workers, Community, Customers and Environment. But for us, this isn’t just a box-ticking exercise; it’s a way to hold ourselves accountable. It’s about putting our progress, our challenges and our ambitions out in the open.
For years, we’ve believed that exceptional security services can and should coexist with a commitment to people and the planet. B Corp gives us the framework to live up to that belief, and this report reflects how we’ve tried to do that. It doesn’t claim we’ve got everything right – because we haven’t – but it does highlight where we’ve made fantastic headway and where we need to do better.
Over the past year, that’s meant real progress: cutting our carbon emissions year-on-year, raising funds for Shelter, and strengthening the way we support our people and partners. These are just a few of the stories you’ll find in the report.
What I’m most proud of is how our ethos runs through it all: setting high standards inside TKC and across our network, then using that as a platform to push the wider industry forward. This report captures a moment in that journey – not the finish line, but an important step.
