Sales Solutions Director

The Keyholding Company is looking for a highly experienced Solutions Director to drive our strategic sales process, ensuring we deliver ambitious growth targets this year and beyond. This person will work closely with our CEO, Business Development Manager and specialist sales contacts in the field.

This role, which reports into the Sales and Marketing Director, is critical in driving sizeable (£1m+) deals with some of the largest corporations in the UK. These deals will shape the trajectory of the company. It requires a highly organised, detail-orientated person capable of learning new processes and motivating themselves and other stakeholders to deliver.

A background in security or other services industry and a strong interest in technology is preferable as you’ll be responsible for helping us deliver transformative models, concepts and ways of working to an industry not known for adopting change.

You’ll be:
  • Managing our strategic pipeline, ensuring we are constantly pushing towards conversion to sale
  • Connecting with subject matter experts around the business to bring their insight into the BD and prospecting process
  • Presenting project plans to internal and external teams
  • Coordinating sales workshops and demos for senior level prospects to review our products and services
  • Leading on tenders and RFPs in conjunction with bid writers and internal experts, to present winning tech and service solutions
  • Connecting with the Finance team to develop creative and competitive pricing frameworks
  • Liaising with product, tech and design teams to gather input into client proposals and deliver feedback from sales meetings
  • Working with the legal team on timely contract agreements
    Engaging the Marketing team on custom sales materials and graphics for client presentations
  • Ensuring seamless handover at the point of mobilisation to the Account Management team
  • Expected to deliver sales presentations to clients and generate excitement about partnerships, products and services
  • Other duties, in addition to or in lieu of those described above, per the needs of the Company
Candidate description:
  • Experienced with software platforms like Hubspot, Lucid Chart, PowerBi, Powerpoint, Monday, Gant, Excel (or equivalent)
  • Organised and can demostrate how they improved the outcome of a project
  • Able to motivate teams and individuals to deliver on targets
  • Experienced at delivering complex projects on time and on budget
  • Have a clear understanding of how sales teams function and where the challenges lie
  • Be able to collaborate with a range of stakeholders based on a clear understanding of their role and objectives
  • Experienced at working with C-level team, and managing upwards to assist them in their sales goals
  • Confidence and communication skills which allow you to simplify complex plans into prioritised and easy to understand ideas
  • Exceptional written and presentation skills
  • Laser focus on getting stuff done. Execution is everything.
  • 10+ years professional experience, at least 5 of which have been in project management or operational role.
  • An interest in transformation and continuous improvement
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
