Duties & Responsibilities can be broken down as follows:
  • Preparation and examination of financial records and accounting statements.
  • Ensure balance sheet recs are completed.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting, legal and tax reporting in all financial documents.
  • Analyse accounting practices used to look for inaccuracies and potential improvements.
  • Help to develop efficient methods for accounting and financial record-keeping and help businesses to implement them.
  • Attend meetings with individual business units to drive commercial knowledge.
  • Assist in the year-end audit process.
  • Review and manage the payroll process.
  • Develop the team in their accounting and reporting knowledge.
  • Involvement in finance and commercial ad-hoc projects.
To be considered for this excellent opportunity you must have the following:
  • Qualified accountant (CIMA,ACCA, ACA) with 3 years of experience
  • Great knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
  • High proficiency in Excel and other MS tools
  • Experience creating financial statements and general ledgers
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Experience with payroll
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Highly motivated, proactive, organised, with the ability to multi-task
