The Keyholding Company is accredited by the National Security Inspectorate to Gold standard incorporating BS EN ISO 9001:2000, BS7499 and BS7984. We are also registered as a Government Approved Contractor with the Security Industry Authority. The Keyholding Company holds SIA approved contractor status for the provision of Security Guarding and Key Holding services. Keys are stored, unmarked except for security codes, in the KeySafe at your local KeyCentre. Our security systems are encrypted so that keys are only released to KeyWardens upon authorisation. A signature trail tracks your keys from the KeySafe to your property and back again. All staff are security screened in accordance with BS7858.

We have a close working relationship with the London Neighbourhood Watch Association (LNWA) and are their preferred supplier for key holding services within the Greater London area.

We have also developed highly secure proprietary software to manage the movement of keys. All keys are alpha-numerically tagged and stored in a KeySafe. There is no reference to any property on any key. A fully detailed signature trail is maintained at each stage of every operation from the moment that keys are removed from the KeySafe until the moment they are logged back in. All other details are logged onto our bespoke system for maximum security and are fully protected under Data Protection legislation.

KHC also has Public Liability Insurance incorporating a specialist risk policy governing the holding of a third party's keys. The Keyholding Company has substantial cover through its insurance policies.
